Karma or Choice?

Everyone has heard of karma. The word itself has become a container for countless fears, projections, and misunderstandings. In everyday language, karma is often imagined as an invisible executioner, a cosmic punisher who follows us across lifetimes, waiting for the perfect moment to settle old debts. When something painful happens, we whisper, “It’s bad karma.” And when life brings unexpected blessings, we say—half in awe, half in disbelief—“Ah, this must be good karma.”

But the truth is far more nuanced, more elegant, and infinitely more empowering.
